Sun came out, and so did we! This was a much needed weekend for relaxation and catching up.
No one ever told me this, but work is so exhausting sometimes. The same-old-routine creeps up on you and before you know it, you’re just emotionally/physically drained. Making Youtube videos has somewhat filled in the gap but nothing beats human interaction when you’re feeling down ❤
This Saturday, Keegan and I slept in despite having plans to go hiking. We had a chill morning–cooked an omelette, ham and cheese, and packed some sandwiches & cookies for a picnic. We drove up to Point Reyes and did a short hike along the seashore (highly recommend the hikes there because they’re beautiful and scenic) and laid out a blanket to eat a late lunch. The area was beautiful and it felt nice to be out of the city for a bit.
On Sunday, I met up with some work friends and we checked out the Richmond district. There was a farmer’s market going on and we got some amazing croissants from a bakery nearby. We then ventured over to the bookstore and Golden Gate Park to soak up the sunshine. It was such a simple day but it felt great to hang out with them outside of work. They don’t know it, but I’m so glad I met them here 🙂
